AUGUST 3-4 2007 - ONE LIFE TO LIFE FAN WEEKEND

Oh my gosh!! WHATAWEEKEND!!
I'd heard fans were awesome - but they actually go far beyond that!!!  BethAnn invited me (her aunt) to join her for the fan weekend - and I was blown away.  BethAnn spent hours and hours visiting with fans, signing autographs, taking photos with the fans, shaking hands and handing out hugs.

What a fabulous bunch of fans!! I loved meeting them!

The gals from the BethAnnBonner Fan Club were unbelievable...
Buttons, Shirts, Photos, Fliers, Auctions - they were on top of it all.
Jeania, Margaret and Colleen - you guys are awesome!!

Here's a photo gallery with just a few of the weekend's moments.
There are more in the Media Coverage link.

BETHANN ATTENDS THE
34TH ANNUAL DAYTIME ENTERTAINMENT EMMY AWARDS!!

NOTE FROM BETHANN ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:

The Daytime Emmy Awards show in Los Angeles was incredible. I got to play dress up and hang out with my awesome cast --- meet new kids from other shows --- dance --- and see my amazing friends in LA that I've missed SO much these past months.

It was pretty much like Prom AND a high school reunion in one. It was awesome.

I also think it's super cool that I made the "Worst Dressed" list! ...and Bree ...and Melissa Archer! The girls on ONE LIFE... we just live dangerously.

Glowing still from an abundance of happy times...

love,
BethAnn

OLTL got a visit from Grammy Award Winner Nelly Furtado on February 23rd.
BethAnn is a huge fan of Nelly!  Here's a quote from Nelly about her day on the set.

"
I was there the entire day for just one episode, but it was incredible. Actually, I was on cloud nine; it was so much fun. Everybody — the cast and the crew — was so welcoming. They made me feel so at home. Kamar and Forbes [March; who plays Nash] helped me out. They ran lines with me in the dressing room and really made sure I felt ready to go."

A VERY excellent
write up from 3/13/2007

thank you Denise (writer)

I grant one exception in my firm stance against clogging the canvas with new characters, especially since most introduced in 2006 were extraneous, poorly developed and still roam aimlessly, and say that BethAnn Bonner's Talia is a breath of fresh air. There is something unique and intriguing about this character, and though we've yet to learn her back story, we do know that one exists. The writers have hinted that she endured severe emotional trauma while on the job pursuant to 9/11, and I would sincerely like to see this explored as part of her character development. This would be a respectful way to honor the memory of all who lost their lives, and specifically pay homage to the men and women in uniform, all of whom witnessed horrors on that fateful day that most of us did not. Though she is new to the canvas, BethAnn is creating layers in Talia and compels me to want to learn more about the character. She is neither cookie-cutter nor easily forgettable, and I believe BethAnn has the serious potential to enjoy a long future with OLTL and develop a front-burner character with staying power. I sincerely hope the writers tie Talia to the Lords, Cramers, or Buchanans, thereby cultivating some rich character history that will enable her to evolve beyond being used as a pawn in someone's romantic game of chess.
